DATA PROTECTION POLICY
The www.cedd.net Web page main purpose is to inform and provide information to citizens on the services of the Spanish Centre for Disability Documentation, managed by EGUIA-CAREAGA FOUNDATION.
The EGUIA-CAREAGA FOUNDATION assumes the legal obligations regarding the protection of personal data, especially as regards:
a) The existence of files or processes containing personal data.
b) The purpose of data collection.
c) Recipients of information.
d) The optional or mandatory nature of the questions posed by us.
e) The consequences of obtaining data or of the refusal to provide them.
f) The possibility of exercising rights of access, rectification, cancellation and opposition.
g) The identity and address of the entity responsible of the processing or, where applicable, of its representative.
The EGUIA-CAREAGA FOUNDATION wishes that its users have adequate information to expressly, freely and voluntarily decide if they wish to provide their data as required. In this sense, users are informed that their data will be incorporated into an automated file whose responsible is the EGUIA-CAREAGA FOUNDATION.
Unless otherwise stated in each case, the data collected in the forms are necessary and mandatory to access and provide the services established on the web. Users must complete the forms with true, accurate and complete data, responding to the damages that may result in case of defective filling, with false, inaccurate, incomplete or outdated data.
The EGUIA-CAREAGA FOUNDATION is committed to adopt the security levels of data protection required by law, installing the necessary technical and organizational measures to prevent loss, misuse, alteration, unauthorized access and other possible risks. The EGUIA-CAREAGA FOUNDATION also undertakes to fulfill the obligation of secrecy regarding the data contained in the automated files as established in existing laws.
Users or persons acting on behalf of them may exercise at any time the right of access, rectification, cancellation and, where appropriate, opposition in accordance with the provisions of the Organic Law on Data Protection and other regulations applicable thereto, by written notice sent to: Spanish Center of Documentation about Disability with your name and ID number, to the address: C / Serrano 140, 28006 MADRID.
Our main concern is the safe storage of personally identifying information from users. We put great care when transmitting data from users' computers to our servers.
Only employees who need access to users’ data to do their jobs have access to them. Any employee who violates our data protection and / or security policies will be subject to disciplinary action.
Finally it is recommended that if users are not using their own computer do not forget to log out before leaving the web, or close the browser when they have finished. This is to ensure that no one can access personal data or the correspondence of users if their computers are accessible by third parties, if shared with others or if they use a computer of a public place.
